Vaka Maevatini 2010 Race Results - Day 1 (Long Distance)

The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa Vaka Maevatini 2010 Long Distance races were held yesterday on the Aitutaki lagoon, with a brisk wind blowing straight down the course. Results are as follows:

  1. Awesome day of paddling, we couldnt have had better weather, just perfect and some great competition. Too bad Raro paddlers didn't show except Aitutakis No 1 supporter and Raro Paddler Fletch (you da man!), and a couple of the Raro boys, thanks for coming guys! Absolutely perfect conditions as always! Some great paddling done, and some great steering by our Te Mana Steerers Moana, Tai and Winnie, not to mention our 11 year old Te Mana steerer Nooroa Maoate, you go boy!. Nice to see the Open Boys back again from their holidays?, great job boys and keep training.
    We are all looking forward to the next events in the next coming weeks!
